This site is a tribute to Lilian Hall, who was born on 16th November, 1942, at Longdon Staffordshire. Lilian was devoted to family - husband John, daughter Abigail and grand-daughters Georgie and Tasha.
A retired vicar, Lilian leaves many friends and colleagues in the church communities in Cornwall and Lincolnshire. She also lived in the Isle of Man, home to cherished friends and her god-daughter Anna.
With John, Lilian shared a loved of art, books, history and music. She came from a farming family, and always loved wildlife, animals and the countryside. Nature became even more important to her during the last year of her life. Despite increasing mobility problems, she would try and get out into the country every day. In October, she fulfilled a lifelong ambition to visit Iona and Mull, and fell in love with the wilderness of Scotland.
She is much loved and will always be remembered.
John and Abigail would like to thank everyone for the incredible support they have received since Lily has passed away. We would especially like to thank Stuart for his unwavering strength and support during the difficult last weeks and the wonderful staff at St Barnabas hospice in Grantham.
Please do leave a thought or special memory on this page, or in our book of condolence if you are able to attend the funeral. No flowers please but a donation to St Barnabas hospice, who did such a fabulous job caring for Lilian, or to the RSPB, as birds meant so much to her, would be greatly appreciated.
Much loved and much remembered by us all. So thankful for the life of Revd Lilian. With warmest thoughts and prayers
Fondly remembered by Gloria, Bob and Jayne.
